We start our long weekend with a Welcome Dinner and Drinks on us, full of local and seasonal produce at the Homestead Restaurant from 5pm. An evening of over-due catch-ups and stories from the road, before retreating back to your onsite cottage.

21st

Saturday is the day, join us by Great Oyster Bay on the shores of Piermont in the early afternoon for a celebration of love. We follow this with, sunset drinks on the terrace and a evening of dinner and dancing at the Homestead Restaurant.

22nd

We brush away the cobwebs as we take to the terrace and lawn for a long recovery lunch from the asado grill, for some local woodfired treats and a couple more refreshing beverages as a final thank you from us.

Getting There..

We cannot wait to bring you on an adventure to one of our most favourite locations ever, and have you stay with us a for a long weekend at the beautiful Piermont Retreat. Located on the East Coast of Tasmania just out of a small town called Swansea, Piermont Retreat is nestled on the shores of Great Oyster Bay. A picturesque one and a half hour drive from Hobart or Launceston delivers you to this untouched area of Tasmania.

To the Sky

Virgin operate direct flights from Perth to Hobart multiple days a week. Stop over options via Melbourne as also daily and around the same price. Hobart airport is a short fifteen minutes from Hobart CBD. We personally love a quick stop over in Hobart before taking to the road and heading out of town.

To the Road

We recommend grabbing a Hire Car from the Airport and taking to the road. With Swansea being one and half hours from Hobart this is the only option of transport.

We have always used East Coast Car Hire which is a short mini bus from the Airport Terminal and have supplied us the discount code : HFRIENDS

Accommodation

The accommodation which initially brought us to this beautiful location through one of Jack’s many side hobbies (Holiday Accom Specialist) is all located on site at Piermont Retreat and has been pre-booked for the Three Night Affair. Stone Cottages and renovated Beach Shacks over look the Great Oyster Bay framed by views of Freycinet National Park and will be your home for the long weekend. Properties vary in size with some shared and some single properties.
